AMBOSELI ADVENTURES
OVERVIEW
Amboseli National Park is a safari destination that combines stunning scenery, diverse wildlife and rich culture. Located in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, Amboseli offers a breathtaking view of the snow-capped mountain and its surrounding plains.
Visitors to the park get to see its famous residents: the elephants. Amboseli is home to over 1,000 elephants, some of which are among the largest and oldest in Africa. They can be watched roaming freely in the marshes and grasslands. Other animals such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, giraffes and wildebeests are also frequently spotted.
Included below is a carefully curated list of packages, featuring accommodation at different levels of luxury to suit all budgets. Each camp/lodge is situated at a prime location within the National Park, allowing for premium game viewing at your convenience.
Transport to and within the park is by road, in either a shared safari landcruiser 4x4 vehicles or tour van. All vehicles have pop-up roofs for panoramic 360° game viewing. The vehicles are driven by professional driver-guides, with comprehensive knowledge of the national park and the wildlife within.
These packages are customisable in a number of ways:
- Your safari landcruiser or tour van can be upgraded to private, giving you exclusive use of your vehicle for the duration of your trip. Schedule game drives at your convenience, there is no limit.
- Air travel to and from the national park can be arranged.
- You may wish to stay longer than listed. The number of days can be increased or decreased on request.
- Special activities unique to Amboseli can be added to your itinerary as listed in the Extra Activities section.
