OVERVIEW

This is a luxury five day - four night stay at the 5-Star Hemingways Watamu hotel along the stunning beaches of Watamu, including airport transfers to and from the hotel.

Watamu, meaning "home of the sweet people" in Swahilli, is a small coastal village approximately 120km north of Mombasa, Kenya's second largest city. It is also just 20km south of Malindi, Vasco da Gama's first landing point on the coast of East Africa. Watamu's shoreline features pristine white sand beaches and offshore coral formations arranged in different bays and sheltered by a reef. The area is protected as part of the Watamu Marine National Park and is considered one of the best snorkelling and diving areas on the coast of Africa.

Hemingways Watamu is an iconic tropical paradise, sitting right in the middle of the Watamu Marine National park, with its idyllic white sand beach and turquoise waters. There is so much to do here: learn to kite-surf, get your PADI certificate, take a sunset dhow cruise or play a round of golf at the nearby world class golf course, Vipingo Ridge. If that all sounds a little too energetic, relax by the beach with a good book as you work your way through the splendid cocktail menu.

This tour is customisable. The number of days can be increased or decreased as per request. Travel to and from Watamu can be altered, with options to land at different airstrips near Watamu.
