LIONS BLUFF LODGE
OVERVIEW
This is a luxury five day tour of Lumo Conservancy, a pristine wilderness located in the Tsavo Ecosystem, in Southern Kenya. The conservancy is wedged between Tsavo East National Park, Tsavo West National Park and Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. It sits on an ancient elephant migratory route, linking the Tsavo Ecosystem to the Shimba Hills. Lumo is an important breeding site for lions; and plays host to a range of wildlife including Cape Buffalo, Leopards, Maasai Giraffe, Zebra, Hartebeast, Impala, Waterbuck, Thomson's Gazelles, Lesser Kudu and Dik-dik.
Accommodation is at the excellent Lions Bluff Lodge. Perched atop an enchanting hill, the lodge offers guests sweeping panoramas across the vast expanse of Kenya's natural wilderness, encompassing the grandeur of Mount Kilimanjaro, the captivating Taita Hills, the pristine Lumo Sanctuary, and the thriving Tsavo ecosystem. The lodge comprises 12 elegantly appointed luxury suites, elevated on wooden platforms, providing guests with an immersive safari experience. The suites are spacious and elegantly decorated with comfortable beds, en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, and private verandas.
Transport to and within the conservancy is by road, in private safari landcruiser 4x4 vehicles, with pop-up roofs for panoramic 360° game viewing. The vehicles are driven by professional driver-guides, with comprehensive knowledge of the conservancy and the wildlife within.
This tour is customisable. The number of days can be increased or decreased as per request. Travel to and from the game reserve, can be changed to air travel instead of by road.

ITINERARY
ARRIVAL:
- You'll be picked up from the airport.
- Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
DAY 01: NAIROBI TO TSAVO WEST
- We depart early in the morning for Tsavo.
- Check in at Lions Bluff Lodge in time for lunch.
- Spend a relaxing afternoon at the lodge, or have an afternoon game drive.
- Enjoy a full-course dinner, and spend your first night in your luxury room.
DAYS 02 - 04: LUMO CONSERVANCY & TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK
- Arise for an early morning breakfast in preparation for the day.
- Proceed to a morning game drive, with plenty of time to spot wildlife before they seek cover to cool off from the mid-day sun.
- Return to the lodge in time for a sumptuous lunch.
- Relax and enjoy the facilities.
- Go for an afternoon/evening game drive (Optional).
- Enjoy a full-course dinner and relax with exquisite views of the wild at night.

DAY 05: TSAVO WEST TO NAIROBI
- Wake up at 6 am for a sunrise game drive.
- Return to the lodge for breakfast and prepare for checkout.
- Depart for Nairobi.
- Have lunch at a selected restaurant in the capital.
DEPARTURE:
- Additional accommodation at the end of this tour can be arranged for an extra cost.
- You'll be dropped off at the airport.
