OL SEKI MARA
OVERVIEW
This is a luxury five day tour of the beautiful and expansive Maasai Mara Game Reserve, home to an incredible array of wildlife, including all of the Big Five. Accommodation is at the Hemingways Ol Seki Mara, a stunning private tented camp located in the heart of the Naboisho Conservancy.
Naboisho, which means "coming together" in the Maasai's Maa language, refers to a community effort by approximately 500 landowners who came together to facilitate the formation of the conservancy as a community wildlife area. As a result of their efforts, Naboisho today is a healthy region of biodiversity, and is the second largest conservancy in the region.
The Ol Seki Mara camp is named after the Ol Seki tree (known in English as the Sandpaper tree), which in the Maasai's Maa langauge, means "blessed". It is a peace tree and the branches are used to settle disputes. The Ol Seki Mara tents are situated on platforms on a ridge. The 270° view from all the tents takes in the slope of the acacia scrub where animals graze in the shade of the sparse trees. Beyond the immediate vista, the Ngama hills hem the horizon to the east and beyond lie the plains of the Maasai Mara.
Transport to and within the conservancy is by road, in private safari landcruiser 4x4 vehicles, with pop-up roofs for panoramic 360° game viewing. The vehicles are driven by professional driver-guides, with comprehensive knowledge of the reserve and the wildlife within.
This tour is customisable. The number of days can be increased or decreased as per request. Travel to and from the game reserve, can be changed to air travel instead of by road.

ITINERARY
ARRIVAL:
- You'll be picked up from the airport.
- Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
DAY 01: NAIROBI TO MAASAI MARA
- We depart early in the morning for Maasai Mara.
- Check in at Ol Seki Mara in time for lunch.
- Spend a relaxing afternoon at the camp, or have an afternoon game drive.
- Enjoy a full-course dinner, and spend your first night in your luxury tent.
DAYS 02 - 04: MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
- Arise for an early morning breakfast in preparation for the day.
- Proceed to a morning game drive, with plenty of time to spot wildlife before they seek cover to cool off from the mid-day sun.
- Return to camp in time for a sumptuous lunch.
- Relax and enjoy the facilities.
- Go for an afternoon/evening game drive (Optional).
- Enjoy a full-course dinner and relax with exquisite views of the wild at night.

DAY 05: MAASAI MARA TO NAIROBI
- Wake up at 6 am for a sunrise game drive.
- Return to camp for breakfast and prepare for checkout.
- Depart for Nairobi.
- Have lunch at a selected restaurant in the capital.
DEPARTURE:
- Additional accommodation at the end of this tour can be arranged for an extra cost.
- You'll be dropped off at the airport.

- The rates above are based on luxury tents that accommodate 2 people per tent.
- Families may wish to book a Family Tent Suite that accommodates up to 4 adults, or 2 adults and 3 children. Request a quote for this type of accommodation.
- There is no age restriction for children staying in a Family Tent, however children must be aged 8 and above to stay in the 2-person tents.
