SOPA NAIVASHA
OVERVIEW
This is a luxury five day - four night stay at the excellent Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort. The resort is situated on the shores of Lake Naivasha, a fresh water lake in the Great Rift Valley, about 125km from Nairobi, just over an hour's drive by road.
The resort is set on one hundred and fifty acres of grassland studded with Acacia bushes and trees. A range of animals including giraffe, waterback, and both Vervet and Colobus monkeys reside within the property. Every night, hippos leave the lake to come and trim the grass on its expansive lawns.
The resort is perfect for those wishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of Nairobi for a little while. It is also ideal for tourists wishing for a tranquil stop-over in the middle of a Grand Tour of the country. Guests reside in crescent shaped cottages spread throughout the lawn, all with modern appliances and open air verandas. The restaurant serves exceptional local and international cuisines.
This tour is customisable, where the number of days can be increased or decreased as per request.
