OVERVIEW

Tsavo West National Park in Kenya is a perfect destination for anyone who loves nature and wildlife. It is home to some of the most iconic and endangered wildlife in Africa, such as elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards, and cheetahs. One of the main attractions of Tsavo West is Mzima Springs, a natural oasis that provides water for millions of animals and plants. Here visitors can watch hippos and crocodiles from an underwater viewing chamber, or enjoy a scenic walk along the palm-fringed shores. Another attraction of Tsavo West is the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, a fenced area that protects the critically endangered black rhino from poachers. Visitors can join a guided tour to see these majestic creatures up close and learn about their conservation efforts.

Adjacent to Tsavo West is Tsavo East National Park, known for its abundant and varied wildlife, especially its massive herds of red elephants that wander the plains and bathe in the Galana River. The elephants are the largest and most numerous in Kenya, and they have a distinctive reddish-brown color due to the dust they spray on themselves. The park is home to other animals such as rhinos, buffaloes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos and many more. The rhinos are among the most endangered animals in the world, and are protected in a fenced sanctuary within the park. The lions are famous for their maneless appearance and their reputation as man-eaters during the construction of the railway in the 19th century.

Included below is a carefully curated list of packages, featuring accommodation at different levels of luxury to suit all budgets. Each camp/lodge is situated at a prime location within the National Parks, allowing for premium game viewing at your convenience.

Transport to and within the parks is by road, in either a shared safari landcruiser 4x4 vehicles or tour van. All vehicles have pop-up roofs for panoramic 360° game viewing. The vehicles are driven by professional driver-guides, with comprehensive knowledge of the parks and the wildlife within.

These packages are customisable in a number of ways:

• Your safari landcruiser or tour van can be upgraded to private, giving you exclusive use of your vehicle for the duration of your trip. Schedule game drives at your convenience, there is no limit.
• Air travel to and from the national parks can be arranged.
• You may wish to stay longer than listed. The number of days can be increased or decreased on request.
• Special activities unique to Tsavo can be added to your itinerary as listed in the Extra Activities section.
